The Quintessential Poemster is a marriage between art and language; a poster that is a poem. The Poemster is my attempt at the ultimate psychedelic graphic trip. It celebrates the ancient tradition of the four elements, earth, air, fire, and water. Quintessence is the fifth element, essence. In English, their are four verbs that rhyme which each other, that correspond to these ancient elements. If you want to know what they are, read the poster! It took me about twenty five years to get this poster just right, and it progressed from a drawing, to a painting, to a lithograph to a digital image. It is printed on extra heavy stock in four color process. The Quintessential Poemster measures 28" x 20.5"
